Gold price over the weekend: slight downward correction

Over the weekend, the price of measured gold bars in Kyrgyzstan showed a slight decrease. According to data from 29 December 2025, the price per troy ounce decreased slightly.

The selling price of a troy ounce fell from 400,316 KGS to 400,202 KGS. The buyback price for the same period fell from 394,400 KGS to 394,288 KGS. Thus, the difference was minus 114 KGS for the sale and minus 112 KGS for the repurchase. A similar trend can be observed for smaller bars — the changes are within the range of hundreds of KGS.

Overall, gold remains a stable safe-haven asset, and the current fluctuations are technical in nature.
