Prices in Kyrgyzstan have risen by 7.6 per cent since the start of the year

Consumer prices and tariffs in Kyrgyzstan for January–August 2026 rose by 7.6 per cent compared with December 2025.

Food and non-alcoholic drinks rose by 6.4 per cent, alcoholic drinks and tobacco products by 7.7 per cent, and non-food goods by 6.1 per cent. Services for the general public rose by 11.4 per cent.

The highest price increase among the regions was recorded in the Osh Region – 17.3 per cent.

In the region, food and non-alcoholic drinks rose by 13.8 per cent, alcohol and tobacco products by 28.9 per cent, and services by 27 per cent.
