Participants in the social contract scheme will be eligible for interest-free loans of up to 200,000 KGS

The Cabinet of Ministers has approved Programme No. 3 for the provision of interest-free loans to participants who have successfully implemented the social contract scheme. The programme is now in its third consecutive year and is designed to support the development of small businesses and small-scale farming.

Citizens who have previously taken advantage of the social contract and confirmed the successful implementation of their business initiatives will be eligible for a loan. To participate, applicants must provide documents confirming business operations, individual entrepreneur status, a business licence or limited liability company (LLC) registration, as well as a positive credit history.

The interest-free loan amounts to up to 200,000 KGS for a term of up to three years. The funds may be used for further business development in accordance with an approved business plan. Following receipt of the loan, there is a three-month grace period during which no repayments are due. The loan is then repaid in equal monthly instalments. Interest costs on the loans are covered by the state.

To participate in the programme, citizens must apply to OJSC ‘ABank’ or OJSC ‘Eldik Bank’.
