05/28/2025, 16:20To resolve the legal status of foreign citizens and stateless persons residing in Kyrgyzstan in violation of migration laws, the Cabinet of Ministers has approved temporary regulations.
The document establishes a clear procedure for the voluntary legalisation of the legal status of foreign citizens and stateless persons residing in the country in violation of established migration rules.
According to the provisions of the document, foreign citizens and stateless persons who apply to the authorised bodies by 10 June 2025 to regularise their status will be able to obtain the relevant permits and avoid administrative liability for previous violations.
The Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Migration has been tasked with conducting a large-scale information and awareness campaign to inform interested parties about the possibilities for legalisation. The decree was signed by the Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic, Adylbek Kasymaliyev, and comes into force upon its official publication.
