In 2025, farmers leased equipment worth 7.2 billion KGS

Agricultural producers in Kyrgyzstan have received more than 9,000 pieces of equipment worth a total of 21.8 billion KGS. Preferential leasing through banks is provided for 7 years at 6% per annum.

Since 2011, the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry has been implementing seven leasing projects through Ayil Bank and Eldik Bank, renewing the machine and tractor fleet of rural commodity producers.

In 2025, 2,029 units of equipment worth 7.2 billion KGS were transferred to farmers, including:

  • 854 tractors;
  • 56 combine harvesters;
  • 407 agricultural machines;
  • 13 processing units;
  • 709 units of specialised equipment.

The programme aims to provide farmers with modern equipment, develop leasing and increase the efficiency of agriculture in the country.
