In 2025, the government has allocated 744 million soms for the publication of new textbooks. This was reported by the Ministry of Education.

The publication of a complete set of textbooks for all grades in Kyrgyz and Russian is planned to be completed by 2028.

One million two hundred and sixty-two thousand four hundred and twenty copies of English textbooks for grades 3-9 have already been published at a cost of 272.7 million soms.

With the support of the British Embassy, an additional 158,700 copies have been printed at a cost of almost 25 million soms.

The review of mathematics and natural science textbooks for grades 1, 2, 5 and 7 is nearing completion.

In cooperation with the Russian Ministry of Education, Russian language and literature textbooks for grades 1, 2, 5 and 7 are being adapted.
