In 2025, the state allocated 68.8 billion soms for education, which is 4.2% of the country's GDP. This shows that investment in education has become a priority.
An inventory of places was also carried out using integrations in the Mektep system: in 1,534 schools, there are almost 489,000 vacant places, but in 577 schools, there is a shortage of more than 163,000 places.
