By way of comparison, sales in 2024 totalled 63.5 kg. Thus, demand for large gold bars in the reporting year was lower than in the previous year.
On the domestic market, the National Bank continued to sell refined gold bars produced by Kyrgyzaltyn OJSC, weighing between 10.9 and 13.4 kg. The content of chemically pure gold in these bars is at least 99.95 per cent of the bar’s alloy weight.
As noted in the report, the project is aimed at developing the precious metals market, supplying raw materials to the jewellery industry and expanding operations involving precious metals.
In addition, the National Bank has facilitated the purchase of refined standard gold bars and gold standard bars via the trading platform of Kyrgyz Stock Exchange CJSC.
