The region’s first aircraft park and aviation museum have opened at Osh Airport

Kyrgyzstan Airports JSC has announced the opening of a unique public facility at Osh International Airport: an aircraft park and aviation museum, the only one of its kind in the region.

The new complex is a modern space combining aviation history, educational elements and interactive solutions. The project has been realised thanks to the creative approach and sincere commitment of specialists striving to popularise aviation and make it more accessible to a wider audience.

A real flight simulator takes pride of place in the exhibition, allowing visitors to feel like pilots, gain a unique experience of flying an aircraft and gain a deeper understanding of the aviation profession.

“The museum is open to everyone and is aimed, first and foremost, at young people. “This space is designed to inspire a new generation, foster an interest in aviation, reveal its romance and contribute to career choices,” says Manasbek Samidinov, Chairman of the Board of OJSC ‘Airports of Kyrgyzstan’.

In the near future, a similar aviation museum is planned to open at Manas International Airport, which will mark a continuation of systematic efforts to develop aviation infrastructure and promote the industry.
