The main objective of the inspection is to provide farmers with certified, high-quality seeds that meet state standards. As part of the testing, crops are examined, including checks for purity, uniformity of growth, and the absence of other crop species on the same plot.
Testing is an important procedure necessary to confirm the variety and quality of the plants grown. It allows determining how well the seeds correspond to the declared variety, as well as determining the suitability of crops for further use in seed production. This is especially important for increasing yields, improving the quality of agricultural products, and protecting the interests of farmers.
Based on the results of the testing, experts draw up appropriate conclusions, which form the basis for the certification of seed material. The Department will continue to carry out such activities on a regular basis to develop sustainable, productive and competitive agriculture.
