A trout breeding plant has been opened in Balykchy

A technical opening ceremony for the trout breeding plant was held in the city of Balykchy in the Issyk-Kul region. The event was timed to coincide with the 34th anniversary of Kyrgyzstan's independence.

The company has been operating in the market since 2021 and specializes in trout farming with full control of the production cycle. This allows it to produce high-quality products that are in demand both domestically and abroad.

The plant produces frozen gutted fish (with and without heads) as well as fresh chilled products. The main volumes of supplies go to Russia and Kazakhstan, while surplus fry are sold to local fish farms.

The fish are fed with feed produced in Turkey by the world-leading company BIOMAR. The plant is also the exclusive distributor of BIOMAR products in Kyrgyzstan.
The opening of the enterprise was an important step in the development of the country's fish farming industry, support for local production, and expansion of export opportunities.
