Another 18 electric buses have arrived in Bishkek

As part of an agreement with Chinese company Anhui Ankai Automobile Company, 18 electric buses have arrived in the capital.

According to the mayor's office, three electric buses arrived in Bishkek on 31 May and two in April. This brings the total number of buses to 23.

As part of a project financed by the Asian Development Bank, a total of 120 electric buses will be delivered to the city.

In addition, renovation work is nearing completion at two depots in the capital to prepare the infrastructure for the arrival of electric buses.
