In Bishkek, 0.5 hectares of agricultural land were transferred for the construction of high-rise buildings

The Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic decided to transform a land plot in Bishkek from agricultural land to residential land. The relevant decree was signed by the Chairman of the Cabinet, Adylbek Kasymaliyev.

The plot in question is 0.5 hectares in size and is located in contour No. 19 of the Oktyabrsky district of the capital. The land is privately owned by Viktor Valyaev and was previously classified as irrigated arable land.

According to the decree, the plot will be reclassified as land for residential areas for the construction of apartment buildings.

The Bishkek City Hall must amend the land registration documents and ensure that the land is used for its intended purpose. The municipality is also required to develop and approve urban planning documentation in accordance with construction and architectural standards.

In addition, environmental requirements, public health standards, and legislation on the protection of historical and cultural heritage must be observed when developing the territory. If archaeological objects are discovered, an archaeologist must be involved in the work.

The decree will come into force ten days after its official publication.
