05/15/2025, 17:20Large-scale raids were conducted in the Leninsky district to dismantle illegally installed advertising structures, signs and banners that did not comply with the capital's design code.
The work was carried out by the district municipal administration in conjunction with employees of the Land Use Control Department of the Bishkek City Hall, the Bishkek City Architecture Department, the municipal inspection service, the Bishkek City Hall's Department of Urban Development and Architecture, the Tazaly municipal enterprise, and the Municipal Transport Department.
The raid covered the section of Ryskulov Street from Fuchika Street to Molodoy Gvardiya Boulevard.
As a result of the raid, 119 signs were dismantled and 48 illegally installed advertising billboards and banners were removed.
The measures are aimed at improving the architectural and aesthetic appearance of the city.
In addition, the municipal inspection drew up an administrative report against an individual. A fine of 1,000 KGS was imposed in accordance with Article 107, Part 3 of the Code of the Kyrgyz Republic on Offences. The violation concerned the placement of unethical and illegal advertising, as well as the unauthorised placement of advertisements in unintended locations.
Earlier, representatives of the State Agency ‘Bishkekglavarhitektura’ conducted explanatory work and issued notices to business entities on the need to comply with the rules for placing outdoor advertising.
