Construction of Modern Waste Management Facility Starts in Bishkek

In Bishkek, a capsule was laid in the foundation of the new production base of the municipal enterprise ‘Tazalyq’. The ceremony was attended by the mayor of the city, Aibek Junushaliyev. Construction work has already begun, and the project is scheduled for completion by the summer of 2026.

The new base will become a key infrastructure facility for the enterprise and should significantly strengthen its material and technical capabilities. The total area of the land plot is 4.13 hectares, and the area of the buildings is 11,500 square metres. The territory will house production and repair workshops, hangars for special equipment, a technical salt warehouse, a waste transfer station, a parking lot for municipal equipment, as well as social and sports facilities for employees.

According to Mayor Aibek Junushaliyev, the construction of a modern base is an investment not only in infrastructure, but also in the people who ensure sanitary order in the capital every day, regardless of weather conditions and days off. The new facility will create safer and more comfortable working conditions and increase the efficiency of the enterprise.

The mayor's office noted that the development of the base is taking place against the backdrop of a large-scale renovation of Tazalyka. In 2025, the enterprise purchased 62 units of specialised equipment, which made it possible to renew the vehicle fleet and increase the efficiency of task completion. The number of subscribers reached 1 million 41 thousand 828 people.
