The company is already a significant taxpayer, contributing more than 18.4 million soms to the budget in just nine months of this year. But Textile Trans' ambitions go beyond its current achievements. An initiative was presented at the meeting to build a cotton spinning factory with a processing capacity of 6,500 tonnes of raw cotton and an annual output of up to 4,500 tonnes of yarn.
This project has the potential to radically change the balance of power in the regional textile market, expanding Kyrgyzstan's export potential and creating new jobs.
Particular attention was paid to the role of development institutions and state banks in stimulating investment activity and supporting the real sector.
Following the meeting, Bakyt Torobaev gave a number of instructions, including strengthening financial control over the implementation of projects, preparing an expert plan of proposals to support business in related sectors of the economy, and intensifying the introduction of project financing instruments. In addition, the Deputy Prime Minister instructed to develop solutions to ensure the supply of raw materials and regulate market prices, and to take a systematic approach to the development of priority industries, including the agricultural and textile sectors.
