Currency exchange offices and citizens fined in Bishkek for violating currency legislation

The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan has brought two currency exchange offices in Bishkek to justice for failing to comply with the requirements of the law and the regulator's internal regulations. Each of them was fined 55,000 KGS.

In addition, two cases of unlicensed currency transactions were identified in the capital. Two citizens, S.I.T. and Z.I.Z., exchanged foreign currency outside the legal framework. They were fined 17,500 KGS each.

The regulator reminded that all transactions with cash foreign currency must be carried out only at licensed exchange points.

EEC Council approves cooperation project from Sberbank
The Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission has approved a new cooperation project and allocated a subsidy from the EAEU budget to support it. The applicant is Sberbank, and the key implementer is the Kurgan Road Machinery Plant. The project also involves companies from Belarus and Kazakhstan that supply components.
