The northern side of the bridge on Zhibek-Zholu Avenue is opening in Bishkek

On March 10, in the afternoon, the northern side of the bridge on Zhibek-Zholu Avenue will open in Bishkek. This was reported by city services.

After reconstruction, the bridge has become significantly wider. Previously, its width was 9 meters, but now it has been increased to 13 meters.

Due to deteriorating weather conditions and for the convenience of the capital's residents, traffic will temporarily be organized on one side of the bridge. This will partially relieve traffic congestion in the area.

The opening of the second side of the bridge is planned for the end of March. Currently, the relevant services are continuing work to complete the reconstruction.
