Kyrgyzstan to establish “School 21” — a new training ground for IT specialists

The Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan has approved the creation of an educational organization for additional adult education called “School 21 – School of Digital Technologies.” The decision was made on March 6 at a regular government meeting chaired by Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliyev.

The new educational structure will operate under the Ministry of Education and will become one of the platforms for training specialists for the digital economy.

As noted in the resolution, the creation of “School 21” is aimed at developing digital education in the country and expanding citizens' access to modern IT training programs. An important feature of the project will be the free training format, which will allow a wide range of the country's residents to acquire digital skills.

The educational platform is expected to train specialists who are in demand on the labor market, as well as introduce innovative teaching methods and modern digital technologies into the educational process.

The project is also seen as part of the state policy to develop the digital economy and build human resources in the field of information technology.
