03/08/2026, 18:00The average price of beef in Kyrgyzstan in October–December 2025 was 710 soms per kilogram, which is 14.7% higher than in the fourth quarter of 2024, according to the National Statistical Committee.
The highest prices were recorded in Bishkek – 740.50 soms per kilogram, and the lowest – in the Talas region, where a kilogram cost 633.56 soms.
By region, the cost was as follows: Naryn — 714.13 soms, Chui region — 690.15 soms, Jalal-Abad — 684.17 soms, Osh region — 672.8 soms (in the city of Osh — 681.73 soms), Batken — 659.26 soms, Issyk-Kul — 666.26 soms.
The average price for the quarter across the country was 710.16 soms per kg, exceeding the figure for the fourth quarter of 2024 (619.32 soms) by approximately 90 soms.
According to the National Statistics Committee, the situation in the regions remains uneven, which directly affects the purchasing power of the population.
