LLC received 8.5 hectares of land without legal permission and did not compensate for the damage to forestry, which cost the state 45.4 million KGS.
But the problems did not end there. When setting up the camp, the company destroyed the fertile layer on 10.4 hectares, which added another 2.4 million KGS in damage.
The prosecutor's office has already opened a criminal case. The investigation is looking into the illegal felling of trees, damage to the land, and abuse of official authority. Those responsible may face criminal penalties.
