09/25/2025, 15:41Nurlan Tentimishov, a farmer from the Chui region, is developing livestock breeding with the support of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry.
The farmer was granted a preferential loan of 5 million soms at 3% per annum. With these funds, he purchased 30 head of Angus beef cattle.
Currently, his farm has a total of 100 head of cattle. According to Nurlan Tentimishov, the development of breeding opens up new prospects for a stable income.
«Whereas we used to sell calves from ordinary cows for 50,000 soms, Angus calves cost at least 100,000 soms. This is a great opportunity for farmers», — he said.
In the future, the farmer plans to increase his herd and expand his farm.
The Angus breed is widely known throughout the world as one of the best beef cattle breeds. In recent years, the development of pedigree livestock breeding has been one of the priority areas of state support in Kyrgyzstan.
