In the metal ore mining sector, finished product stocks have risen, whilst raw material stocks have fallen

Between January and June 2026, stocks of raw materials held by mining enterprises in Kyrgyzstan fell from 5.6 billion to 4.2 billion KGS. At the same time, stocks of finished products in the sector rose slightly to 6.5 billion KGS.

According to the National Statistics Committee, stocks of work in progress in the mineral extraction sector stood at 3.9 billion KGS at the start of the year, but had fallen to 3.4 billion KGS by the end of June. This represented a decrease of around 13.2 per cent.

In contrast, stocks of finished goods rose from 6.4 billion KGS to 6.5 billion KGS — an increase of approximately 2.1 per cent.

Metal ore mining enterprises account for the largest share of finished products in the sector. Their stocks increased from 5 billion to 5.2 billion KGS.

At the same time, stocks of auxiliary materials used in metal ore mining fell from 3.6 billion to 2.7 billion KGS.
