The workshop contained 45 tonnes of a colourless liquid with a distinctive smell of alcohol, presumably technical alcohol, as well as a large number of labels, caps, containers and ready-to-sell products, including antifreeze, windscreen washer fluid and other technical products.
The production facility was located in the densely populated residential neighbourhood of Sputnik-22 and was not adapted for manufacturing activities, posing a serious threat to public health and a high risk of fire or explosion.
In addition, equipment for labelling, packaging and bottling products was found on site, even though the enterprise did not have a licence to manufacture chemical products.
According to preliminary data, the manufactured products were distributed through motor oil replacement points and auto parts stores under the guise of well-known brands.
The materials on this case will be forwarded to law enforcement agencies for forensic examination and legal assessment.
