The medical facility’s grounds include 11 buildings, some of which were constructed in the 1950s–1970s. Several buildings are in disrepair, and certain structures require major repairs and modernization of their utility systems.
In 2024, a new 60-bed wing of the regional hospital was commissioned, housing the surgical, pediatric, maternity, and intensive care units. However, due to the high workload on the medical facility, the existing capacity is insufficient to fully meet the needs of the population.
The Prime Minister instructed the relevant state agencies to study the feasibility of constructing a new hospital building that meets modern standards, as well as a dormitory for medical staff.
During his working visit, the Prime Minister also inspected the progress of major repairs at the “Jeti-Oguz” sanatorium.
The facility has been transferred to the jurisdiction of the Office of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic. To renew and develop the sanatorium’s infrastructure, large-scale work is underway to reconstruct and modernize facilities, build new structures, and improve conditions for guests.
The project aims to improve the quality of services provided and develop the sanatorium into a modern resort and wellness complex.
The renovation of the sanatorium is expected to be completed this fall.
Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev has instructed that the construction work be completed on time and to a high standard.
