In the Jeti-Oguz district, two plots of land were returned to state ownership

The State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic continues its work to identify land plots that have been illegally transferred to private ownership and return them to state ownership.

For example, it has been established that between 2019 and 2024, officials of the Kyzyl-Suu rural administration illegally transferred 9 hectares of land to private ownership to residents of the village of Kyzyl-Suu, on which a garden with perennial fruit trees had allegedly been planted.

Similarly, in 2018, officials of the Zheti-Oguz District State Administration illegally transferred 8 hectares of land to the private ownership of one of the residents of the Zheti-Oguz District.

However, since the transfer to private ownership and to date, no work has been carried out on these plots to develop or improve them.

During the inspection, the owners, realising the illegality of their ownership, voluntarily returned the land plots to the balance sheet of the Zheti-Oguz District Local Government.
