After familiarising himself with the car assembly process, Toraga noted that the best racehorses in the Kyrgyz language are called ‘tulpar’.
«Therefore, I am confident that the Tulpar Motors plant will live up to its name and produce cars that meet high quality standards and will serve our people. In turn, the state is ready to pay special attention to the opening of such manufacturing enterprises and provide them with comprehensive support», — he said.
At the same time, Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu noted that Kyrgyzstan, which did not even produce matches, has transformed itself into a strong state capable of producing cars in just five years.
«If domestic production does not develop, it will be difficult for our country to move forward. Therefore, we must support and develop our own production, whether small or large. In the current conditions, the main thing is to create new jobs. This enterprise, which provides jobs for about 100 people, has great prospects. If the necessary conditions are created, the plant will be able to increase production and start exporting», — he added.
In addition, the toraga stated the need to carry out appropriate work to sell cars to the population on favourable terms and called on the plant's management to cooperate closely with state banks in this direction.
During the conversation, the plant's management shared its plans for the future and reported that a five-year plan to expand production had been developed, according to which additional land plots are needed.
The President's authorised representative in the Chui region, Kanat Dzhumagaziev, who accompanied the Toraga, was tasked with resolving the land issue.
The Tulpar Motors plant was launched in 2024 and is experiencing rapid growth in production capacity. Compared to the first half of last year, production has tripled, and this year alone, vehicles worth more than 2 billion soms have been produced.
