Based on the results of the audit, a criminal case was initiated against NCOE EU teachers for forging official documents. The teachers, knowing full well that some students systematically failed to attend lectures, modules and credit-examination sessions, grossly violating the basic principles of state policy in the field of education and other regulatory legal acts, abused their authority by illegally entering grades (marks) in the credit-examination records of certain students of NCOE EU.
The criminal case identified 19 teachers involved in this illegal activity, three of whom, K.A.M., K.N.A. and E.uulu U., were detained and placed in the temporary detention facility of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic.
In addition, the investigation revealed the illegal issuance of 287 higher education diplomas, which will be revoked in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic warns that citizens involved in corrupt activities will inevitably be held accountable regardless of their status or social position, in accordance with the current legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
