01/21/2026, 12:52The State Tax Service held a working meeting dedicated to addressing pressing business issues in the field of non-cash payments.
The event was attended by STS Deputy Chairmen Azat Almanbetov and Kubanychbek Ysabekov, representatives of the National Bank, the Antimonopoly Regulation Service of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Interbank Processing Center, the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, and the Union of Banks of Kyrgyzstan.
The purpose of the meeting was to develop joint approaches and solutions aimed at reducing inconveniences for entrepreneurs and consumers, ensuring the stable operation of non-cash payment instruments, and creating equal and transparent conditions for doing business.
During the meeting, issues related to the use of non-cash payments by entrepreneurs, including the use of QR codes and electronic wallets, were discussed. Particular attention was paid to the practical problems faced by entrepreneurs when accepting non-cash payments, as well as issues related to ensuring the convenience, transparency, and security of settlements.
Special attention was also paid to the difficulties arising from the transition to payment instruments issued to individual entrepreneurs and legal entities. The resolution of these issues falls within the competence of banks and other relevant organizations.
In addition, issues related to improving the speed of funds crediting, optimizing tariff policy, reducing administrative procedures for opening accounts and electronic wallets, as well as other technical aspects affecting the daily activities of entrepreneurs were discussed.
All participants confirmed their readiness for constructive interaction and joint development of solutions aimed at developing non-cash payments, taking into account the interests of businesses and citizens.
The State Tax Service will continue its systematic work to create favorable conditions for entrepreneurial activity, develop a modern payment infrastructure, and strengthen a transparent economy.
