All transactions took place within the country — no goods were sent outside the country on a cashless basis. These data were published by the National Statistical Committee.
The largest amount was in the trade sector — more than 70 million KGS, including wholesale and retail sales of non-automotive goods. Another 41.4 million KGS was shipped in the oil and gas extraction sector.
Barter was also used in the production of medicines, logistics, law, and media communications.
Barter is the exchange of goods or services without the use of money. For example, a company can provide construction materials and receive legal advice in return. This approach helps businesses solve current problems when they lack working capital.
