• Over 15,000 taxi drivers in Kyrgyzstan have been issued with licences

  Since 12 September 2025, the Ministry of Internal Affairs has issued over 15,000 licences to citizens operating taxi services using passenger cars, as well as 410 licences to legal entities. This was announced by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Oktyabr Urmambetov at a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh committee.
