Kyrgyzstan to train its own transport specialists

Kyrgyz State University named after I. Arabayev will launch a new training programme called ‘Transport Process Technology.’ The programme is being implemented with the support of the Japanese company Nagoya Railroad (Meitetsu Group).

As noted by Deputy Prime Minister Edil Baysalov, this initiative will be an important step in training qualified personnel to work in the field of transport organisation, logistics and the development of the country's transport infrastructure.

The new programme will enable graduates to become sought-after specialists in the national transport system, from railways and road transport to airports and logistics centres.

Kyrgyzstan will thus begin to train its own experts in modern transport technologies, which will open up additional opportunities for the development of international cooperation.
