05/08/2025, 16:55The Consul General of Kyrgyzstan in Novosibirsk, Aibek Aidarbekov, took part in a meeting between the Governor of the Tomsk Region, Vladimir Mazur, and representatives of consulates accredited in the Siberian Federal District.
Among the key topics discussed were strengthening interregional ties with the Issyk-Kul region in the trade, economic, scientific, educational and cultural spheres. According to the governor, in 2025, the Tomsk Region will send an official invitation to the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Issyk-Kul Region, Bakytbek Zhetigenov, as well as to Kyrgyz entrepreneurs. The aim is to establish direct contacts between businesses in the two regions.
During his visit, Aidarbekov also took part in a meeting of the Tomsk Region Export Development Council. He called on Tomsk companies to participate more actively in relevant exhibitions in Kyrgyzstan and to consider the possibility of localising production in the republic.
The meeting featured presentations by companies operating in the fields of technology, processing, food industry and eco-products, including Technology Market, NIIPP, RT-Technologies, Reton, Mikran, Organic Soy Product, Sibereko and others.
Consulate General staff also visited a number of companies producing healthy food products. Organic Soy Product expressed interest in opening a plant in Kyrgyzstan. The Consulate General, in turn, is ready to assist in finding local partners to launch production and exchange technologies.
