Kyrgyzstan Has Temporarily Reduced the Cost of Car Window Tinting Permits for One Month

From November 5 to December 5, 2026, Kyrgyzstan has temporarily reduced the fees for permits to tint the front side windows of cars. For resident individuals, the fee will be 250 calculation units instead of the previous amount.

The Cabinet of Ministers adopted the corresponding Resolution No. 740 on November 4, 2026.  This was reported in the newspaper “Erkin Too.”

The following rates have been set for the duration of the discount:

• for resident individuals—250 calculation units;
• for legal entities—500 calculation units;
• for non-residents—700 calculation units.

Lower rates are provided for electric vehicles:

• for resident individuals—200 calculation units;
• for legal entities—400 calculation units;
• for non-residents—600 calculation units.

The permit is issued for a period of one year. The new rates apply to vehicles in categories M1 and M1G.

The resolution took effect on November 5, 2026.
