The changes affect laboratory diagnostics, medical rehabilitation, and hospitalization conditions.
Specifically, for people with disabilities assigned to family doctor groups, the list of free laboratory tests has been expanded.
Additional diagnostic services, including ultrasounds and other tests, are also provided.
People with disabilities are entitled to free hospitalization up to three times a year. If hospitalization is required more frequently, preferential terms are provided.
In addition, certain physical therapy procedures are provided free of charge under the program.
At the same time, Kyrgyzstan has digitized the medical and social assessment process. An electronic document management system has been implemented between healthcare organizations and relevant agencies, and Form 088 has been converted to a digital format. Since 2023, more than 28,000 documents have been submitted through the system.
