11/26/2025, 16:50Sadyr Zhaparov summed up the results of an expanded meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, noting the steady growth of Russian-Kyrgyz economic cooperation and the increased interest of Russian businesses in Kyrgyzstan.
According to the head of state, in the first six months of this year, Russian direct investment in the Kyrgyz economy amounted to $110 million. Zhaparov stressed that the republic is open to further expansion of Russian capital.
“We always welcome the interest of Russian business circles in the market of the Kyrgyz Republic and are ready to create the necessary favorable conditions for their successful activities,” said Sadyr Zhaparov.
The president also reported that as of November, there are more than 1,800 companies with Russian participation operating in the country, which is about one-third of all foreign enterprises operating in the republic. According to Sadyr Zhaparov, this dynamic indicates the sustained confidence of investors and positive business expectations.
Separately, he supported the initiative to create a new association of Russian capital in Kyrgyzstan.
“We fully support the initiative of our Russian partners to create an Association of Russian Investors in Kyrgyzstan. It is intended to become an effective platform for dialogue between our business communities, between Russian investors and Kyrgyz state authorities,” the head of state emphasized.
The president noted that the launch of the Association will help increase the transparency of investment projects, accelerate the implementation of joint initiatives, and create additional mechanisms to protect business interests.
