A ‘School 21’ will be established in Kyrgyzstan in partnership with KGS

The Ministry of Education has proposed the creation of an educational organization called “School 21” — a school of digital technologies that will train highly qualified IT specialists. The project is being implemented jointly with KGS Sberbank of Russia and its subsidiary, ANO “School 21.”

The school will not have traditional lectures or schedules: students will learn through practical experience, team projects, and independent study of materials on a digital platform. The project provides free education for all citizens over the age of 18 and a special track for schoolchildren aged 11–17.

School 21 will open at the Professional Lyceum of Information Technologies No. 99 under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic. It will become a pilot site for the introduction of new forms of digital education, the development of IT personnel, and the improvement of digital skills among young people throughout the country.

The project will require funding from the national budget for three years: 2025 – approximately 425 million KGS, 2026 – 139 million KGS, 2027 – 150 million KGS.
