08/18/2026, 17:37In 2026, 65 cooperatives were established and incorporated into agricultural production in Kyrgyzstan. Their total area was 683 hectares, according to the relevant ministry.
The largest number of new cooperatives appeared in the Talas and Osh regions—18 and 17, respectively. These two regions account for more than half of all the newly established cooperatives.

This work is being carried out as part of the state program for the development of agricultural cooperation for 2023–2027, approved by a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers on August 23, 2023.
The program provides for the voluntary association of small-scale agricultural producers to work together and increase production efficiency. On average, each cooperative established in 2026 will manage approximately 10.5 hectares of land.
