    Alcohol production declines in Kyrgyzstan

Alcohol production in Kyrgyzstan is declining from 18 million litres in January-April 2024 to 17.4 million litres this year. The information is available on the website of the National Statistics Committee.

This is due to a significant decline in champagne production, which fell from 16,200 litres to 4,800 litres, and grape wine production, which fell from 87,300 litres to 34,700 litres.

There was also a decline in beer production to 9.9 million litres.

However, ethyl alcohol production, on the contrary, increased. While 3.6 million litres were produced in the first four months of last year, this figure rose to 4.3 million litres in the current period.

At the same time, the production of non-alcoholic beverages is growing.
