Anti-corruption training programme for government officials launched in Kyrgyzstan

The Prosecutor General’s Office has launched the ‘Anti-Corruption School’ programme for anti-corruption officers, with the participation of international and national experts.

The training takes place at the Prosecutor General’s Office’s Law Academy from April to June and consists of three modules. The programme aims to develop practical skills for identifying corruption risks, implementing preventive mechanisms and fostering a culture of integrity among civil servants.

The initiative is being implemented in partnership with the Central Asian Institute for Corruption Studies and the United Nations Development Programme in Kyrgyzstan to enhance the effectiveness of anti-corruption measures.

Mirlan Maitpasov, Head of the Main Directorate for Combating Corruption, emphasised that the systematic work of the commissioners is key to preventing corruption within state bodies.
