10/14/2026, 17:37Kyrgyzstan has amended the decree on the temporary ban on the import of certain types of building materials from third countries. The document was signed by the Prime Minister, Adylbek Kasymaliev.
The amendments clarify the list of goods, taking into account product characteristics and the needs of the domestic market. The aim is to ensure the country has the necessary range of building materials.
However, the ban does not apply to building materials intended for investment projects provided for under international treaties and agreements, as well as projects of national importance and national investment projects. In the latter case, an official letter from the coordinating state body confirming the intended use of the goods will be required.
