11/07/2026, 15:51In January–September 2026, fixed assets worth 77 billion 287.2 million KGS were commissioned in Kyrgyzstan. For every KGS of utilised investment, 0.21 KGS of fixed assets was put into operation. By way of comparison, in the third quarter of 2025, this figure stood at 0.39 KGS.
The highest level of investment activity was observed in certain industrial sectors, the energy sector and the transport sector. For instance, the volume of investment in the construction and refurbishment of facilities providing electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning increased by a factor of 1.4.
Investment in the construction of water supply, wastewater treatment and waste management facilities rose by 1.5 times. Investment in transport operations and freight storage increased by 4.6 times compared with January–September 2025.
However, an increase in the utilisation of investment funds does not always mean that facilities are commissioned just as quickly. The ratio of fixed assets commissioned to funds utilised during the reporting period stood at 0.21 KGS per KGS of investment.
