05/15/2026, 09:50Kyrgyzstan’s first production facility for baby nappies and hygiene products has been launched in the Chui Region. The facility was opened by Brand KG LLC within the Ak-Chii Free Economic Zone.
The opening ceremony was attended by Erlist Akunbekov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers; Malik Abakirov, Chairman of the Board of JSC ‘Guarantee Fund’; and Meerbek Koichumanov, Deputy Director of the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The new production facility is equipped with modern, high-tech machinery. It is expected that the project will create new jobs, reduce the domestic market’s dependence on imported goods and boost the country’s export potential.
As noted by the Guarantee Fund, the company’s founder had previously benefited from the organisation’s guarantee support during the implementation of a vegetable oil production project. The launch of the new enterprise marked a continuation of business expansion and the development of production initiatives.
The Guarantee Fund emphasised that it continues to support projects aimed at developing domestic production, import substitution and job creation.
