05/23/2025, 18:39According to the National Bank, at the end of 2024, there were 2,529 ATMs and 36,330 POS terminals operating in Kyrgyzstan.
Of these, 33,691 terminals are installed in retail and service enterprises, and the rest are in bank branches and cash desks.
The national Elkart card remains the most accessible in terms of infrastructure: it is accepted by all ATMs and terminals in the country.
Visa and MasterCard international cards are similar in terms of coverage, with 2,510 ATMs and 36,092 POS terminals accepting them.
The Zolotaya Korona card has significantly less coverage, with only 400 ATMs and 13,183 terminals.
Chinese UnionPay cards are accepted at 1,738 ATMs and 23,364 POS terminals.
