Construction of an asphalt and concrete plant in the Kara-Suu district will be completed this year

During a working trip to the Osh region, Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliyev familiarized himself with the progress of construction of a number of large industrial facilities in the Kara-Suu district.

In particular, he inspected the construction of an asphalt and concrete plant owned by Salikh-Stroy, located in the rural district of Datka. The plant is being built on an area of 2 hectares, with an estimated cost of 261 million KGS. Construction is scheduled for completion in 2025.

In addition, Adylbek Kasymaliyev familiarized himself with the progress of construction of the Zheti-Baatyr meat and dairy production plant in the rural district of Manas. The completion of the plant is scheduled for the end of the year, with an estimated cost of 427 million KGS. Once operational, the plant will create more than 300 jobs.

"Investments by local entrepreneurs in such industrial projects testify to serious changes in the economy. While in the recent past the country relied exclusively on foreign investment, today we are seeing significant growth in domestic revenues and in domestic business. The fact that private entrepreneurs now have significant financial resources is direct evidence of economic growth. The state will always support those businesspeople who work transparently, pay taxes, and conduct honest business,” said the head of the cabinet.

These facilities are included in the list of 134 industrial enterprises that are planned to be put into operation this year.
