10/07/2026, 14:51In Kyrgyzstan, the country’s airports handled more than 6 million passengers in 2025. This is stated in materials marking Civil Aviation Day, which is celebrated annually in October.
In 2025, Manas International Airport and the regional airports were merged into OJSC ‘Airports of Kyrgyzstan’. The company operates 11 airports, six of which have international status and five of which are regional.
Passenger traffic in 2025 totalled approximately 1.8 million people. International flights accounted for 42 per cent of passenger traffic, whilst domestic flights accounted for 58 per cent.
Manas International Airport remains the country’s main air gateway. It handles international and domestic flights and is capable of accommodating all types of aircraft.
The structure of OJSC ‘Airports of Kyrgyzstan’ also includes Osh, Issyk-Kul, Karakol and Batken, as well as the regional airports of Jalal-Abad, Isfana, Karavan, Kazarman, Naryn and Talas.
