Personnel changes took place at the Bishkek City Hall following an inspection of parks and sanitary zones

There have been personnel changes at the mayor's office in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan. Bolot Cholponbaev, head of the Capital Construction Department, and his deputies Bolot Apilov and Adilet Turduev have been dismissed from their posts. The relevant orders were signed by the city's mayor, Aibek Junushaliyev.

The decision to change the leadership followed a recent tour of sanitary facilities in the Leninsky and Pervomaisky districts. During the inspection, the mayor made serious comments on the quality and scope of the work being carried out, and also pointed to weak control by the responsible services. They were instructed to eliminate the identified violations as soon as possible.

In addition, the mayor of Bishkek visited the Kyrgyzstan-South Korea Friendship Park to personally oversee the process of its cleaning and improvement. According to Junushaliev, city services should pay special attention to the condition of all parks and squares: tree pruning, grass mowing, watering, garbage collection, and infrastructure maintenance — from lighting to toilets.

“You will be personally responsible for the proper condition of every park and square,” the mayor emphasized, addressing officials.

Today, work on greening and beautification is actively continuing in Bishkek. Each park has been assigned responsible employees who will be personally responsible for the sanitary and technical condition of public spaces.
