06/18/2026, 11:35A pilot project entitled ‘Natyzhany Zhetkiruu Top’ (NZT) has been launched in the Nookat District of the Osh Region, aimed at helping to resolve entrepreneurs’ problems promptly and improving the effectiveness of implementing government decisions at a local level.
The first event as part of the project took place on 17 June, attended by representatives from the business community, local authorities and government bodies. The initiative was launched by the National Institute for Strategic Initiatives under the President of Kyrgyzstan, with support from UNDP.
During the meeting, entrepreneurs completed a questionnaire to identify the main barriers to business development. Participants were also presented with an automated analytical model for assessing the region’s production potential, which helps identify promising areas for economic growth and attracting investment.
The data collected will form the basis for compiling a list of the most pressing business issues. For each issue, the plan is to identify the root causes, the responsible authorities and specific mechanisms for resolution.
The next region where the pilot project will be implemented will be the city of Tokmok.
NZHT is a Delivery Unit model adapted for Kyrgyzstan and is focused on achieving specific results through monitoring, coordination and the prompt resolution of issues faced by citizens and businesses.
