05/16/2026, 10:27Work is continuing in Osh on the construction and renovation of pavements totalling 30 kilometres in length. This was reported by the city council.
According to the city council, work is underway on several major streets simultaneously. For instance, 7 kilometres of pavements are being renovated on Kurmanzhan Datka Street, 3.5 kilometres on Alymbek Datka Street, 16 kilometres on Kokum-Biy Street, and 2 kilometres on Masaliev Street.
As noted by the city council, the issue of improving pedestrian infrastructure remains a priority for residents.
This week, the city’s mayor, Zhanarbek Akayev, held a meeting with residents, during which the construction and renovation of pavements were among the most discussed topics.
