An MRI center has opened in Osh, based at the interregional clinical hospital

A magnetic resonance imaging center equipped with a 1.5 Tesla uMR 580 Chinese-made device has begun operations at the Osh Interregional United Clinical Hospital. The project was implemented as part of a public-private partnership.

The project involved the renovation of the premises and the installation of equipment. Previously, the hospital did not have its own MRI scanner, and patients had to go to private clinics or travel to other cities. Now, examinations can be carried out on site.

The investment in the project amounted to more than $1 million. The contract term is 15 years, after which the center and equipment will be transferred to the state.

The project was initiated by the National Agency for Investment under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Health. Following a tender, Shan Shui Silk Road Key Ji LLC was selected as the private partner.
